Miles Skyward
"This previously unpublished photograph of Miles Davis was used to illustrate the cover of my book, Jazz In Available Light: Illuminating the Jazz Greats from the 1960s, '70s and '80s. I covered Miles over the course of three decades, and he was always reinventing himself. And, always so fun to capture — the movement, the changing looks, and of course the indelible sound. This felt perfect for my cover because it's totally him engrossed in the magic he creates."
