Miles, Moon and Stars

"Miles Davis was creative music's trailblazer. Throughout the Fifties and Sixties, he was the 'essence of cool.' But by 1970, with the release of his album Bitches Brew, he became the catalyst for all iterations of the jazz/rock movement. And with it all, Miles was the ever-changing, fashionable trendsetter. I caught him playing his specially-commissioned red 'Moon and Stars' trumpet, manufactured by Martin Company at that blockbuster event. And it's one of those shots that truly could be from the future. He was never not cool."
